A mixture of the material so obtained, 2-difluoromethyl-lH-benzimidazole (0.435 g), potassium carbonate (1.36 g) and DMF (15 ml) was stirred under nitrogen and heated to 1100C for 24 hours. The resultant mixture was cooled, filtered and the filtrate was evaporated.
