A reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatog. (RP-HPLC) method was established for the determination of related substances of esomeprazole sodium. The determination was performed on a Venusil XBP C18 (L) column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm), with a mobile phase consisting of a mixture of acetonitrile and phosphate buffer (pH 7.6) by gradient elution. The column temperature was set at 30°C with a flow rate of 0.8 mL·min-1, and the detective wavelength was 302 nm. The related substances were completely separated from the main constituent. The calibration curves for 5-methoxy-2-mercaptobenzimidazole, omeprazole sulfone N-oxide, omeprazole sulfone, esomeprazole sodium and omeprazole sulfide revealed good linearities over the ranges of 3.99-29.94 μg·mL-1 (r=0.9998), 4.06-30.45 μg·mL-1 (r=0.9999), 2.46-18.42 μg·mL-1 (r=0.9998), 3.96-29.67 μg·mL-1 (r=0.9994), and 4.08-31.32 μg·mL-1 (r=0.9998), resp. The recoveries of the above compounds were 99.5% with RSD of 0.6%, 99.1% with RSD of 0.3%, 99.0% with RSD of 0.6%, 99.2% with RSD of 0.9%, and 99.0% with RSD of 0.7%, resp. The method could be used for testing the product quality of esomeprazole sodium.

Conventional synthesis of carbon dots (CDs) mostly involves a hydrothermal or solvent-thermal reaction which needs relatively high temperature and pressure. In this work, ionic liquid is used to assist in fast synthesizing CDs with an ultrahigh photoluminescent quantum yield (98.5%) by heating at a low temperature (≤100°C) and at atm. pressure. In addition, through this approach, tunable multicolor emissive CDs can be successfully achieved and used for preparing high-performance white light-emitting diodes. Theor. computation proves that the activity of synthesis reaction can be significantly enhanced by ionic liquids D. functional theory calculation reveals that the size and graphite nitrogen ratios of CDs have an effect on bandgap reduction, resulting in a red shift of the emission, which is in good agreement with the exptl. results. This simple and promising approach for fast synthesis of tunable emissive CDs using ionic liquid affords the facilitation of CDs-based luminescent materials for fast manufacturing of functional devices.

In this work, we report large-scale preparation of stable Sb3+ and Bi3+ codoped Cs2ZrCl6 microcrystals for highly efficient white light emission using ionic liquids, demonstrating a broad dual-band white emission covering 400-800 nm. The dual emissions originate from the associated self-trapped excitons of the [SbCl6]3- and [BiCl6]3- octahedra. Moreover, the ratio of the dual-emission peaks can be effectively regulated by tuning the excitation wavelength. Meanwh000.0.0.0.0.ile, to improve the optical properties and stability, ionic liquids are employed to assist the synthesis process of perovskite materials. The white light emission of one of the samples demonstrates CIE coordinates right in the center of the white light region (0.334, 0.331) and an excellent color rendering index (~90.3), accompanied by a 66.1% quantum efficiency. Moreover, our method allows the facile synthesis of large batches of microcrystalline powders. Our findings demonstrate the potential of white phosphors as single components for future applications in lighting fields.

By using the N-phenyl-o-nitroaniline and benzoyl chloride as initial raw materials, a green light-emitting material (pbi)2Ir(acac)2 (pbiH = 1,2-diphenylbenzimidazole) was produced via a new designed synthesis plan. The structure of the complex was characterized by IR, MS, and DTA. The optical Luminescence Properties of the complex was studied by fluorescence spectrometry anal. The m.p. of the product is 343° which showed that it had thermal stability. The fluorescence spectrometry anal. exptl. results show that the excitation and emission peaks of the organic Ir(III) complex were, resp., 470.6 nm and 526.21 nm which showed that it belongs to green high-brightness light-emitting materials. The oxidation of the intermediate products exposed in air which could cause the quality of product instability was avoided in the new, improved synthesis plan.

ESI-MS data reveal several small fragments from CBC, but oligomeric [CuII2], [CuII3], and [CuII4] for non-zero in-source energies; MS data indicates the occurrence of several chem. processes, viz. splitting of the ligand, oligomerization, and redox reaction of alc. to aldehyde and CuII to CuI. Gibbs free energies for the fragments were estimated using DFT. The magnetic susceptibility was modeled with the ferromagnetic coupling J(Cu-Cl2a···Cu) = +0.99(30) cm-1 and J'(π···π) = +0.35(16) cm-1 and g = 2.38(2). HF-EPR determined the anisotropic g-values, gx = 2.24, gy = 2.16, and gz = 2.09, and a hyperfine constant of Az = 450 G. DFT calculations from crystal structure data reveal a J(Cu-Cl2a···Cu) of +3.6 at 296 K and +4.1 cm-1 at 90 K that dominates the magnetic properties, whereas J'(π···π) = 0.04 cm-1 is negligibly small.
