EXAMPLE 158 5-Methoxy-2-chlorobenzimidazole (0.55 g), thiourea (0.2 g) and ethanol (10 ml) were refluxed for 2 hours. NMR (CDCl3) delta: 1.60-2.00 (2H, m), 2.70 (2H, t, J=7 Hz), 2.73 (3H, s), 2.83-3.23 (2H, m), 3.73 (3H, s), 4.30 (2H, s), 6.67-7.40 (6H, m), 12.50 (1H, br.).
